Users on your Google Business Profile

I have been seeing more and more people getting restricted user accounts and losing access to their GBP’s. so I wanted to share this as a reminder.

My recommendation is to have at least 3 users on your profile.

A regular Gmail account not commonly used (owner/primary owner)

A branded domain account (owner/primary owner)

A separate Gmail/agency group account (manager)

Majority of the work needing to be done on a profile can be done by a manager account.

It is VERY important to have 2 owners. One Gmail, one domain account. If one gets restricted then the other can make necessary changes.

I see too many businesses risking only having one owner on their profile and they lose access and the ability to manage the profile properly in an emergency.
